PTF Allocated Funds Request Form
PTF Allocated Funds Request Forms are available now. Forms are available in
the school office or on the table in the church entry way. Please return
completed forms to the school office by April 9th. For more information

Anyone wishing to add their signature dessert to our PTF Auction Dessert list please contact Karen Rohrer at 359-0432.
We need 20 desserts to auction off at the Auction on April 17th.

Fun Fair Thank You!!!!!!
The fun fair is one of the largest attended PTF events and so
successful because of the passion and interest of everyone that attends
our school. Thanks to all the parents, teachers/staff, friends and
family who attended and helped with the event. We hope everyone had a
great time! We couldn’t host this event without our volunteers!!!

MARKET DAY
March Market Day orders are due next Friday the 13th. Order pick up is
Wednesday, the 18th from 3-4pm in the Fellowship Hall. As always, if
you would like to give Market Day a try but have a problem with the
pick up time, or if you are willing to help sort orders (starting at
2pm) please contact Diane Pelafos at 356-0063. This month we earn extra
profit on the sale of pies!!!!
RAM REBATE (SCRIP)
Thank you to everyone for making the Ram Rebate 3-day gift card sale a
success!! If you purchased gift cards, you will receive an email or
phone call next week to let you know that they are available for pick
up.
The next internet order is due on Tuesday, March 10th.
Many of our in-stock gift cards were sold during the 3-day sale! YEA!
Look for more information about new cards that will be available in the
office in the next newsletter. Ram Rebate participants--watch for an
email in the next week that summarizes your reimbursement for your
purchases in January and February. This rebate will be credited to your
March deposit.

Fun Fair 2009
The Annual Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2009, from 4:00-7:00 pm at St. John School. Please mark your calendars now for this super event! Fliers with discount advanced ticket purchases will be available in late February to avoid lines that night and to save money. Tickets will also be available during the Fun Fair at a slightly higher price. The Obstacle Course and Bounce House are back along with many of your favorite activities!
The Fun Fair is only made possible by the cooperative efforts of our Parents and Teachers who generously volunteer to run the games and concessions throughout the evening. It’s a lot of fun! Contact Leah Seten, Fun Fair Chair, at 356-4698 for more information.

RECYCLING
The St. John Parent Teacher Fellowship would like to announce a few
meaningful additions you have helped us make at the school this year.
So far, we have paid for the recycle stations placed around the school. This is
making a tremendous impact on both students and the environment.
SCHOOL PURCHASES
Additionally, through our rather soggy car wash, we are thankful to announce
the purchase of the new sound equipment in the gym. It has already been put
to good use during the 7th and 8th grade play. Finally, we are excited to
announce that the 7th grade pie sale was a success. Thanks to all who
purchased pies this year. We are glad to help the 7th graders raise funds for
thier Gettysburg trip next year.
AUCTION
Soon we will begin to gather donations for the 2009 PTF Auction. This one
event will raise funds to make an addition to the school playground and assist
our faculty and staff by providing needed instructional items for the classrooms.

LET’S SKATE!!
St. John Lutheran School's Family Ice Skating Party will be held on Monday,
December 8th at the University of Illinois Ice Skating Arena from 6:00pm to
8:00pm. All school families are invited to attend this event. Families are
encouraged to bring healthy finger food. Lemonade and water will be
provided by St. John's PTF. Hope to see everyone there.

RAM REBATE (SCRIP)
Thank you for your order this week! Your gift cards will be available for
pick-up after 8am on Wednesday, December 10th in the school office. The next
order will be due after Christmas break on January 6th.
Reminder.... County Market gift cards are now available in $25, $50, and $100
denominations with a 5% rebate. You will find County Market listed under
“grocery” on the Scrip website. Now available!! In-stock Panera and Fannie
May gift cards are available in the school office in $10 denominations. All
proceeds from sales of cards in the office will benefit the PTF. If you would like
to place an order which would benefit your student’s tuition account, simply log

Sales forms have been sent home this week, just in time for the holidays! Order
a NEW St. John Rams hoodies and zipper hoodies for the fan on your list this
year. Send your order forms back to the office by December 10th and receive
