A CELEBRITY IN OUR MIDST

Justin Spring, a 2008 Olympic bronze medal winner in men’s gymnastics, was at St. John School Tuesday.  He talked about his appearance at the 2008 Summer Olympics and answered questions from the students about his gymnastic training as well as his experiences in Beijing, China.  He also brought along his bronze medal, and each of the students was able to handle it and see it up close.  The kids thought it was a pretty special event!

Special thanks to Mrs. Rivers and Ms. Bauer and Karen Rohrer for putting together the festivities, and to all of the room mothers for organizing the gifts and yummy treats!  So far things are going well, and I am not so patiently waiting for my new blessing from God to arrive!  Thanks again!
