The Music curriculum used at St. John is called Sing and Make Music, and uses sacred and secular music as a basis for instruction.  During Music instruction, students learn the following concepts:  pitch and singing, rhythm and movement, timbre, dynamics and tempo, form and harmony, classics and worship. 

Students in 3-5 grades display their knowledge of music as they learn the recorder, and students in the 5th grade also learn handbells.
