PTF Board Members

Renee Nagy opened at 6:30 with devotions and prayer. PTF was meeting was held at Renee Nagy’s
home.
Business Meeting:
1. Correction of minutes for May 22 approved. Minutes
for June 7 approved with corrections to include Julie Tappendorf as being present.
2. Treasurer’s report: No report was available.
3. Committee
Reports:
A. Volunteer Coordinator, Laurie McDonald, not
present. Discussed that some room reps.
will be changed. Julie Tappendorf is
going to be added to Auction Committee.
B. Family Fun: Back to school coffee. Folders will be given to Angie Fenwick and
Peggy Cler who will chair the coffee. HVC/CountyMarket/Kirby Foods sign up
sheets will be made available at the back to school coffee.
C. Family Fun: Back to school picnic and open house. HVC and volunteer list will be available for
people to sign up and re-register. Mary
Slack suggested to have a computer available with internet access to show
people how to use Schoolpop.com.
D. Car Wash: Carwash date set for September 29th. Bruce and Kristine Sherrick will be in charge of the Car Wash for 2007.
E. Kirby Foods/HVC/County Market: Received check from Kirby Foods, check given
to Linda Prom.
F. Logo Items: Michelle DeYoung discussed 2 logos; one
Christian based and one with the Ram symbol.
The Christian based logo was chosen.
Discussed offering polo shirts this year. Michelle DeYoung discussed making bracelets
and book marks for fundraising, this was approved.
G. Schoolpop: Discussed that members of Schoolpop that no
longer have children in the school can designate
a child that they want the earnings to be applied to. If people apply for the Schoolpop Visa, they
earn another 1% toward tuition.
H. Box Tops: Faith Block will call Kim Schmidt regarding prizes, and Mrs. Mihm will be
handling the collection at school.
4. New Business:
A. PTF Binders: New
PTF binders were passed out to board members.
B. Event Folder Instructions: Discussed where to get
folders with PTF directions for different events.
C. Informational Night/Orientation Meeting: Renee Nagy
spoke with Mr. Leffler about being
able to sign parents up for events at Information Night/Orientation Meeting.
This will affect Kindergarten parents and new families to St. John School.
D. Meeting refreshment Sign-Up: PTF members signed up to provide refreshments for future meetings.
E. New St. John
Families: Discussed calling new parents to the school to inform them of events and opportunities to volunteer.

No further business, Renee Nagy closed meeting with prayer. Next
PTF meeting will be on 08/28/2007 at St.
John Lutheran School.
